These are just a few of the many cards I was able to make, and I have tons more paper left! I'll post more cards when I get the chance, in the meantime hope these cards inspire :)

Elle's Studio
I recently discovered a "new to me" company, Elle's Studio. I discovered it from the fabulous Danielle Flanders; she designs for them and seeing her beautiful cards made me HAVE to try their products! I was so drawn to the April collection, Cienna, the beautiful patterns and colors had me hooked at first sight! Today I'm sharing a few of the cards I made with the Cienna items.

Stamplorations Challenge
I'm entering this card in the Stamplorations Inspiration Project Post #12 and the Stamplorations Anything Goes challenge. I had bought my first Stamplorations stamp sets last summer but this is the first time I'm actually using them. I really like the artistic style of their stamps and I'm happy to finally be trying them out!
My card is inspired by Shery Russ's beautiful "live life out loud" card. I used the Trendy Feather stamp set, along with a sentiment and distressed stripe from PTI. I used 3 colors of distress ink to create my background on watercolor paper, Peacock Feather, Mowed Lawn, and Tumbled Glass, using the acetate smooshing method. I drew the lines and made the dots with a fine tip black pen. This card is "almost" one layer, although I did attach the water color paper to a black card base.
I'm hoping to add a few more Stamplorations sets to my collection soon :)

Sparkle & Shine
I'm entering today's card in the Sparkle and Shine challenge. I heard about this challenge through the Winnie and Walter blog, they're providing a 25.00 prize to the winner!
I've been loving gold lately and I wanted to use up the last bits of kraft and gold paper that were included in the Simon Says Stamp April kit. That, and the sketch provided for the challenge, were the inspiration for my card.
To start my card, I used some Cracked Pistachio distress ink on watercolor paper, doing some acetate smooshing. I used PTI dies to cut the butterflies from the kraft and gold paper. The strip of paper with the circles punched out was done with an MFT sequin die (I used the sequins on another card that I posted yesterday). A strip of washi tape and a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp finish the card. I added a few drops of Heidi Swapp gold spray, and some Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins to really make this card "sparkle and shine" :)
I love bling, so this card was super fun to make!

Sparkle
This card is totally CASED from Maile Belles card here! I wanted to use up some of the strips of paper from the Simon Says Stamp April kit (it's much too pretty to throw any of it away!!), and this layout is a perfect way to use up those strips! I cut them with an MFT die. I cut the word Sparkle (PTI) from black card stock 4 times and glued the words together to give some dimension, then added glossy accents to the top. A few gems and sequins finishes off this simple card.
Now I've used up almost every bit of the April kit, can't wait for May to arrive!

Combining SSS kits
I was very inspired by Vicky P. of Clips-n-Cuts video here, of combining Simon Says Stamp card kit elements. I used up almost every bit of the March kit, but I did have a few of the journal cards and scraps of paper left, enough to come up with this card.
The kraft and gold paper from the April kit works beautifully with the March kit elements, don't you think? I also added a few of the rub on sentiments from April. Such a fun way to use these kits, thanks for the inspiration, Vicky!!

SSS April card kit Part 2
I made a few more cards with the Simon Says Stamp April card kit that I wanted to share. For these cards I was on a quest to use up as many of the rub-ons from the kit as possible. I don't always find it easy to incorporate rub-ons on my cards, but I love how this first card turned out! I used various dies and cut pieces with white card stock and rubbed away ;)
This next card also incorporates some of the rub-ons, along with stamps, paper, and washi from the kit. The streamers on the top of the card were cut with dies from PTI.
Hope these cards inspire!

Simon Says Stamp April card kit
I have a couple of cards to share today that I made using the April Simon Says Stamp card kit. This is a fabulous kit, one of my favorites so far. I LOVE the kraft and gold paper that was included in the kit, it's really versatile and works well with many different types of projects.
My first card is a festive one combining kit items (papers and sentiment stamp) with some PTI dies (cupcake, candles, banner).
I added some Heidi Swap gold shimmer mist to the card base (hard to see in the photo), and glossy accents to the candles flames. The sentiment is embossed in gold.
My next card goes in an entirely different direction.
I did the acetate smooshing technique on some watercolor paper using distress inks and then cut it with a Spellbinder scallop edged die. The gold rub on leaves and sentiment are from the April kit. The little felt flowers were cut using a PTI die. I added a strip of washi tape (from the kit) on a piece of PTI vellum and attached everything to a white card base.
Hope you've enjoyed seeing these cards, thanks for stopping by today!

Winnie and Walter challenge card
I made a card for Winnie & Walter's latest challenge, The Gossip Column with Taheerah Atchia, No 1 Colour Crushes. This looks like it's going to be a fun new challenge so be sure to check out all the details here!
For my card I used Winnie & Walter's Scenery: V for cheVron, and the sentiment is from A Tree For All Seasons. The color choices for this challenge are SO inspiring, it was hard to choose what to use, but for this card I went with Aqua Marine (Tumbled Glass Distress Ink), Classic Blue (Chapter 1 pad from a Club Scrap kit), Tangerine (Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink), and Glacier Grey (Fairy Dust Pure Color from Wplus9). To make this card I inked the large chevron and then lightly sprayed with a mist of water (hence the splotchy look). I also added some Dylusions White Linen Ink Spray at the end. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Black Onyx. I made this card using my MISTI, which made lining up the chevrons so easy. Oh how I LOVE my MISTI!!
