My second post today, this one with a card for the May Stamplorations CASEsploration challenge (just in the nick of time!)
We're casing guest Kim Markortoff this month, here is her fabulous card:
And here is my card entry:
I embossed Stamplorations Trendy Feathers in white, and then did some ink blending with DI Gathered Twig, Tea Dye, and Brushed Corduroy. I added some water droplets to my card (the white splotches you see, the water activates with the DI to create this look). The sentiment, also from Trendy Feathers, is stamped with Gathered Twig DI.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
So much interest added to your card with those blended DIs and water spots. Love how the feathers appear to be falling from the sky, the lighter spot reminds me of the sun's glow. Thanks for joining us at CASEplorations.
ReplyDeleteLove those feathers and you used them beautifully here! The water spots add a lot of interest, too! Thanks for linking up with us at STAMPlorations/CASEplorations!
ReplyDeleteI love this!! Your sponged and water spotted background is awesome and I love the white feathers on the kraft. They really do look like they are falling! Fantastic! :-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful use of the feathers! Love it on the kraft! Thanks for joining in at CASEplorations
