I'm back with my 2nd post for today and this time I'm playing along with the My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge! I received some MFT goodies in the mail today, and one of the items was the new stamp set Polynesian Paradise, which I couldn't wait to use because it's SO darling!! Here is the sketch I'm using:
I white embossed 4 of the images from the stamp set onto watercolor paper, then I used a splatter stamp from Jumbo Abstract Art and various shades of distress ink to create the watercolor splatters. I added a strip of colorful patterned paper to each side of my card, and the sentiment is from Polynesian Paradise. I chose that particular sentiment because I think the watercolor looks like splashes of water, so it fit the card well :) The card is finished with some colorful sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. I can't wait to play more with Polynesian Paradise, it's such a fabulous stamp set!
Thanks for stopping by!
