Sparkle & Shine Challenge #23

Hello!  It's time for a new challenge at Sparkle & Shine, and this is sure to be a challenge you will "love"!  Just look at this adorable inspiration photo...

And the winner of this challenge will receive a $25.00 gift card to the Create A Smile Stamps online store, and be asked to be our guest designer next month!

Now on to my card.  I was inspired by the adorable little scalloped envelopes in the photo, along with the mail theme.

The cute background paper, along with the puffy stickers, were from the July 2014 Simon Says Stamp card kit (they're from Pink Paislee).  I loved that kit but still have some items left over and I thought they would be perfect for my card.  The adorable penguin is from a brand new stamp set by Reverse Confetti called S'More Love.  I used my Zig Clean Color watercolor brush markers to color him and fussy cut.  The scalloped frame was cut from a Reverse Confetti die.  I die cut a few small hearts from red card stock to add as accents and covered them with Glossy Accents.  The twine, clothespin, and heart finished off the card.  Valentine cards are some of my favorite cards to make, I'm sure partly because I'm a romantic sap at heart lol!

I do hope you'll play along with us, and be sure to visit the Sparkle & Shine blog to check out what the rest of the design team created!
