Hello and welcome to the September Calling All Sistahs Blog Hop! This month our theme is GIRL POWER! I know my sistahs, and I know that you are STRONG! That's right, women are tough, we have to be to tackle life in this day and age. Some of us have more of a battle than others, but I know for a fact that not one of us is sitting on "easy street". For those of you battling one of the toughest challenges life can throw at you, cancer, I honor your courage and I know that you have the strength it takes to KICK CANCER'S BUTT! As with all of our Calling All Sistahs blog hops, this is our way of reminding all of the sistahs out there to do their monthly breast exams and have their yearly mammograms. It's so important to catch it early!
For my card today I used Calling All Sistahs for my sentiment, Christmas Sparkle for the stars, and Ruffled Ribbon Fri-Dies. A quick and easy card with a powerful message!
Did you know that there's a Calling All Sistahs Facebook group? Anyone can join the group and participate in our monthly blog hops to help spread this important message! Also, to help you make your cards CAS-ual Fridays carries a wonderful line of stamps and dies just for this purpose, the Calling All Sistahs Collection. 50% of the profits from the sales of the Calling All Sistahs Collection goes to National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. for research and medical help!
I hope that you'll hop along with us! There will be a $15.00 gift
certificate to the CAS-ual Fridays store given to 3 people who comment
along the hop. Entries close at 12:00 am on September 17th. The next stop on this hop is KARA STAINBROOK!
