Happy Labor Day weekend, everyone! Hope this day finds you enjoying time with your family and friends! Did you hear that My Favorite Things has a big contest going on right now?
I'm certainly not a "superstar" in the card designing world, but winning 3 challenges recently with My Favorite Things Summer School has given me the confidence to at least give this contest a try! The prizes are truly fabulous (and very generous!) So here's my first card for the competition.
I started my card by embossing the word Grateful (from Thanks So Very Much) on a white card base with gold embossing powder. The stems are from the new Fall Florals stamp set. I stamped them in black with the first stamp, then used white pigment ink to stamp the second stamp. Then I used clear embossing powder to cover everything and heat set. The words "thank you" are from the new Label Maker Sentiments stamp set (LOVE these!) I added a few spritzes of Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine to my card, along with some gold thread and sequins, to finish it.
You can enter up to 5 cards in this contest, and I hope to be able to do that! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
