Essentials by Ellen January Pin-Sights Challenge

Hello, I'm so happy you stopped by today!  I made a card for the January Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge today using some of the new products I bought from their last release!

I was inspired by the shades of gray, the snow, and the cozy winter images and textures.

I used STITCHES COVER PLATE on my card background, and added a strip of silver glitter washi tape along one side.  I stamped the snowflakes from SEASON TO SPARKLE on white card stock and embossed with white embossing powder.  You can't see the white on white in my photo, but it's quite lovely in person.  I stamped the dear from SEASON TO SPARKLE on gray card stock and embossed in white.

The card was finished with a few silver sequins.  I'm very pleased with this, and even more pleased to have a head start on next year's holiday card making!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hogs & Kisses

Happy Monday!  I'm here today with another sweet and simple Valentine that I made using products from REVERSE CONFETTI, and a sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!

I used one of the adorable little pigs from CURED as the focal image for my card.  I colored the pig with Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor markers, and die cut it using CURED Confetti Cuts.

I used HEART STENCIL and PIGGY BANK Dye Ink, along with my ink blending tool, to color a piece of white card stock, and then I cut the edge with a scalloped edge scissors to add a bit of interest.  The sentiment is from CURED.  I added a couple of pink enamel hearts and some pink twine to finish the card.  So so cute!

Thanks for stopping by today, have a fabulous week!

You Are So Very Loved

Hello there!  I'm here today with a card that I made for the current Freshly Made Sketches Challenge using an array of products from REVERSE CONFETTI!

REVERSE CONFETTI has so many wonderful Valentine products to choose from, and I used some of them on my card today!

I first cut a scalloped circle from patterned paper using CIRCLES 'N SCALLOPS Confetti Cuts and TRUE LOVE 6X6 Paper Pad, and placed it on a CLOUD WHITE Card Stock base.  I used the 4 new card stock colors for January, PIGGY BANK, FLAMINGO, ROSE, and SALSA, to die cut various hearts.

The hearts were die cut with STAMPED NOTE Confetti Cuts, LOVE NOTE Confetti Cuts, HEART BANNERS Confetti Cuts, and XOXO HEARTS Confetti Cuts.  The sentiment is from CRAZY ABOUT YOU.

How about you, are you having fun making Valentine cards?  Be sure to check out all of the great products REVERSE CONFETTI carries for your Valentine card making!

Happy Heart Day

Hello there!  I'm sharing a Valentine card with you today that I made using the Reverse Confetti January SFYTT!

I started my card with some patterned paper from the TRUE LOVE 6X6 Paper Pad.  Next I die cut a piece of CLOUD WHITE Card Stock using HAPPY PRETTY PANELS Confetti Cuts.  I stamped the words "heart day" from WHOLE LOTTA HAPPY on black card stock and embossed in white.

I used HEART BANNERS Confetti Cuts and ROSE Card Stock to die cut the cute heart banner.  I strung the hearts on some black twine and used some tiny clothespins to attach it to the "HAPPY" panel.  The two little hearts at the top of the card were taken from the centers of the heart banner.

If you haven't played along yet with our January SFYTT challenge there's still time!  The winner will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store and claim the title of 'Fetti Fave!

Thinking of You

Hello!  I'm playing along with Freshly Made Sketches today!  I always love their simple sketches, and love when I have the time to play along.

I was inspired by a card I saw on Dawn McVey's blog where she used a new stamp set that's being released this month by PTI.  I wanted to try the technique she used, and I thought that the leaves from PTI's Leave It Be would be a great substitution.  I'm also determined this year to USE the things I have instead of always feeling like I need to buy new things.  I'm sure you can all relate!

I colored the leaves from the Leave It Be stamp set using various shades of green and blue Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor markers (coloring directly onto the stamps), and then spritzed them with water and stamped on some Canson watercolor paper.  I die cut the leaves with the matching dies.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Artful Flowers.  This green and blue color combo with a bit of Kraft is one of my favorites!

Thanks so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Enjoy!

Hello there, sweet friends!  It's time for a new challenge at Where Creativity Meets C9, and the theme this month is "Try Something New"!  The design team got to try out some brand spanking new Concord & 9th stamps and dies for this challenge, courtesy of the very generous Angie and Greg!

Today I'm using the new LOVE NOTES STAMP SET and LOVE NOTES ENVELOPE DIES!  I decided to make a gift card holder that will fit inside the envelope (the envelope is on the left in the picture below).

The new LOVE NOTES ENVELOPE DIES allow you to make an envelop with a finished size of 3" X 4 5/8".  You can then insert your "love note" inside (or gift card holder as I did).  Angie will have a detailed video on the Concord & 9th blog to explain how to assemble the envelopes, and give you all the measurements you need to make your envelopes and love notes!  They're very easy to put together!

I used several stamp sets to decorate my envelope.  The word enjoy, the hearts on the coffee cups, and the flourishes on either side of the coffee cups are all from the LOVE NOTES STAMP SET.  There are SO many wonderful stamps in this set and I'm sure some of the other DT members will be showing those today.  The coffee cups and the word "coffee" are from the COZY UP STAMP SET.  The tiny heart borders were made with the heart from the O CHRISTMAS TREE STAMP SET.  The notches that were cut on the back of the envelope and on the piece of card stock that holds the gift card were all done with a die that's included in the LOVE NOTES ENVELOPE DIES.

You don't have to use new products to play along, you can try a "new to you" technique if you like.  And as always the prizes are wonderful!  One winner will be invited to be a guest designer with us, and another winner will be chosen through random.org to win a $25.00 gift card to Concord & 9th!  You have until the 29th of January to enter.  Please pop over to the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog to see what the other design team members have created to inspire you, and don't forget to check us out on Instagram and Facebook!

Reverse Confetti January Release Blog Hop

The day is here, the new products are now available in the Reverse Confetti Store!  We're also going to be hopping today, showing you even more ideas to use the awesomeness that is the January Reverse Confetti Release!

I have 2 cards to share with you today.  The first card uses the new MY ROCK stamp set which was previewed yesterday, along with the beautiful CROSS Confetti Cuts.

To make my card I started by placing a piece of patterned paper from the TRUE LOVE 6X6 Paper Pad on a dark gray card base.  Next I die cut a piece of white card stock using Lacy Scallop Frames Confetti Cuts and stamped the sentiment from MY ROCK.  I die cut a piece of shiny gold card stock using CROSS Confetti Cuts and popped it up on the white panel.

I started my next card by cutting a strip of the packaging that came in my Reverse Confetti box.  I got the idea of recycling this paper from Amy Tsurata, isn't she clever!  Next I stamped the beet from FOODIE FUN using SALSA Dye Ink and Avocado Dye Ink, and die cut it using FOODIE FUN Confetti Cuts.

I die cut a piece of Avocado Card Stock using XOXO HEARTS Confetti Cuts, cutting off two of the hearts with a scissors to adjust the size.  I stapled that to the brown packaging, glued the brown piece to a white card base, then popped up the beet image using some foam tape.  Easy peasy but oh so cute and punny!

Now be sure to hop along to see what the rest of the Confetti Crew and our special guest 'Fetti Friend have created to inspire you!  The next top on the hop is LISA HENKE!
