Countdown to Confetti: Day 2

Hey there!  I'm back for day 2 of the April REVERSE CONFETTI release sneak peaks!

I'm excited about today's new products because they help make creating masculine cards and gifts a breeze (something I struggle with!)

I decided to create a tag and card duo that will be perfect for Father's Day gift giving.  For the tag I first cut the tag from light grey card stock using TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts.  Next I stamped the word "dad" from TIE-RIFIC repeatedly on the tag using light grey ink to give a tone on tone look.  I stamped the polka dot tie from TIE-RIFIC on white card stock using dark blue ink and cut it out with TIE-RIFIC Confetti Cuts.  I stamped the sentiment from TIE-RIFIC using black ink.  I used the new SQUARED OFF TAG TOPPER to cut the green card stock for the top of my tag.  I topped off my tag with some SOLID MIDNIGHT BLUE TWINE and a blue button.

For my card I cut a bunch of the word "dad" from light grey card stock using the "dad" die from TIE-RIFIC Confetti Cuts.  I glued them all down at an angle on a piece of light grey card stock.  This almost looks like embossing and I just love the look!  Next I cut the pocket from TIE-RIFIC Confetti Cuts out of white card stock.  I stamped the word "dad" from TIE-RIFIC using green ink and "the man. the myth. the legend." using dark blue ink.  I decided to add some green card stock around the pocket to make it stand out.  To finish my card I added some of the blue twine and more buttons to match the tag.

So what do you think of today's products?  Pretty awesome, yes?

Be sure to leave a comment on all of the design team blogs and on the Reverse Confetti Blog for a chance to win a 15.00 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  There's also a 15.00 prize up for grabs on the Reverse Confetti Facebook page so be sure to visit there too.

Hope you'll stop back tomorrow for day 3 of the Countdown to Confetti!
