It's a PSL kind of day!

Hello there!  Today I'm sharing a card that I made using a sketch from the Coffee Loving Cardmaker's Sunday Sip and Share feature!  I've been enjoying seeing the sketches and cards Kerry Urbatch comes up with each week and decided I needed to play along.  I used some of my favorite Reverse Confetti products to make my card!

The coffee mug from JUST BREW IT worked perfectly with the sketch.

I stamped the coffee mug using BRICK Dye Ink and die cut it with JUST BREW IT Confetti Cuts.  The flowers and leaves were made using BLOOMS 'N BUDS and BLOOMS 'N BUDS Confetti Cuts.  I used TANGERINE Dye Ink, BRICK Dye Ink, and LIME GREEN Dye Ink.  To make the card base I used CLOUD WHITE Card Stock, ALL FRAMED UP Confetti Cuts, and patterned paper from the FRIGHT NIGHT 6X6 Paper Pad.  I finished my card with some gold sequins and gold sequin trim and twine.

I hope that all of my coffee loving friends out there will give this fun Sunday feature at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog a try!

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello there!  I have a Thanksgiving card to share with you today using some beautiful Reverse Confetti products!  I'm entering my card in the current CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge.

I love this unique sketch and really wanted to play along.  I decided to use some Reverse Confetti stencils to make an interesting backdrop for some acorns.

I used the POINTED OUT STENCIL and the LOTS O DOTS STENCIL, along with some distress inks, to add color and pattern to the top of a CLOUD WHITE Card Stock base.  Next I used HAPPY HARVEST Confetti Cuts to cut the acorns from patterned paper from the FRIGHT NIGHT 6X6 Paper Pad and some gold glitter paper for the tops.

I stamped the gingham acorn with the word "happy" from WHOLE LOTTA HAPPY, and the word "thanksgiving" was stamped on black card stock and embossed in white.  The leaves were die cut from AVOCADO Card Stock using WHEAT Confetti Cuts and LEAFY Confetti Cuts.

I finished the card with a few gold sequins and some white twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Holidays!

Greetings, sweet friends!  Today I have a card to share that I made for the current Winnie & Walter Rerun Challenge using Scenery: It's a Wonderful Pennant!

I really enjoyed making this card!  I started with a piece of patterned paper from PinkFresh Studio's Felicity collection.  You can't really see it very well on my card, but I used some white gesso behind the trees on the patterned paper to tone it down (originally I was only going to use 1 tree on my design which would have left a lot more of the background showing).  I also used Mini Scenery: Multigrain to stamp some light grey ink over the gesso.  The wreath was cut using In Bloom: Paulina's Greenery Cutaways.  I stamped the large, outline triangle from Scenery: It's a Wonderful Pennant on the peach bird paper 3 times and cut them out.  I stamped the tree stem grey card stock.  The sentiment is from Merry & Bright with Evelin T. Designs.  I added a small bakers twine bow to the center tree, and some small white sequins to the wreath to finish the card.  I love making Christmas cards using non traditional colors, how about you?

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

You got this!

Hello, friends!  Today I'm playing along with 2 challenges, the Essentials by Ellen October Pin-Sights Challenge and Freshly Made Sketches 259!

I used my new Mondo Peony from Essentials by Ellen for the first time for my card today!  I used several shades of orange distress inks to watercolor the flower (Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon and Rusty Hinge), and for the leaves I used Twisted Citron and Crushed Olive.  The sentiment is from Oh Frappe, I inked it selectively and left off the word "coffee".  The black enamel dots were made using Nuvo Crystal Drops.  I recently ordered my first 3 colors of these drops (black, white, and gold), and I have to say I love them and I'll definitely be ordering more colors!

Hope you're having a terrific weekend, thanks for stopping by today!

For my card today I'm using the CRAZY DOGS stamp set from Stampers Anonymous.  I combined it with some products from Reverse Confetti to make a fun Christmas card.

I used the JINGLE ALL THE WAY Confetti Cuts to cut the sentiment in a white panel.  The red is showing through from behind, and I filled in some of the letters by cutting the sentiment from green card stock.  I love the two tone look!  I stamped the dog and colored him with Copic markers.  For the Santa hat I used the hat from Reverse Confetti's JOLLY HOLIDAY stamp set.  It fits this dog perfectly!  I added a sprig of greenery and berries to the dogs tail, which I cut using LEAFY WREATH Confetti Cuts I added some GLOSSY ACCENTS to the dogs nose and the berries to finish the card.

Once again I want to thank Tupelo Designs for having me, it's been a pleasure!

Reverse Confetti Happy Fall-idays: Christmas

Hello, and welcome back to day 3 of Happy Fall-days!  Today we're sharing ideas for your Christmas celebrations!  The fun starts on the Reverse Confetti Blog!

Every Christmas I love to hand out mason jars filled with yummy treats (either homemade or store bought depending on how much time I have lol), and making special tags for these treat jars has become a tradition at my house.

I used a variety of Reverse Confetti stamps and confetti cuts to make my tags, there are so many awesome ones to choose from!

I had so much fun mixing and matching different stamp and dies to create my tags.  For my reindeer tag I used JINGLE ALL THE WAY Confetti Cuts, TOPPED OFF TAG Confetti Cuts, TOP O' THE TAG Confetti Cuts, MERRY CHRISTMOOSE Confetti Cuts, and JOLLY HOLIDAY stamps.  I watercolored the reindeer on CLOUD WHITE Card Stock using distress inks.

For this tag I used HOLLY JOLLY TAG LAYER Confetti Cuts, TOP O' THE TAG Confetti Cuts, and HOLLY Confetti Cuts.  All of the patterned paper on my tags is from the VERY MERRY 6X6 Paper Pad.

For the Santa tag I used NO PEEKING TAG LAYER Confetti Cuts, TOP O' THE TAG Confetti Cuts, and JOLLY HOLIDAY and MERRY CHRISTMOOSE stamp sets.

I was tickled pink to find 3 colors of ribbon in my stash that matched the new Reverse Confetti paper colors perfectly!  I have SO much ribbon and I barely use it these days so any time I can find a use for it I'm thrilled.

Be sure to hop along and see what the rest of the Confetti Crew has created, I'm sure you'll love it!
