You got this!

Hello, friends!  Today I'm playing along with 2 challenges, the Essentials by Ellen October Pin-Sights Challenge and Freshly Made Sketches 259!

I used my new Mondo Peony from Essentials by Ellen for the first time for my card today!  I used several shades of orange distress inks to watercolor the flower (Carved Pumpkin, Ripe Persimmon and Rusty Hinge), and for the leaves I used Twisted Citron and Crushed Olive.  The sentiment is from Oh Frappe, I inked it selectively and left off the word "coffee".  The black enamel dots were made using Nuvo Crystal Drops.  I recently ordered my first 3 colors of these drops (black, white, and gold), and I have to say I love them and I'll definitely be ordering more colors!

Hope you're having a terrific weekend, thanks for stopping by today!

  5. http://hursthousebandb.com/ We loved it! We hope to go again in the spring. The hosts were very nice. Breakfast was wonderful. I liked that it wasn't too far from some of the craft stores I like to go to.
