Countdown to Confetti : Day 3

Hello there!  It's day 3 of the September Reverse Confetti sneak peeks and we have something extra special to share with you today, just in time for your Halloween and Fall gift giving!

The new Treat Tubes and Treat Tube Topper Confetti Cuts will make giving adorable gifts a snap!  The Treat Tube Topper Confetti Cuts comes with 6 of the Treat Tubes, and packs of 6 Treat Tubes will be available for purchase separately.

As you can see I decided to make 2 tubes, one with a Halloween theme and one with a harvest theme.  The possibilities with these tubes are ENDLESS!  Can you imagine how cute these would be for wedding or shower favors?!

To make the Halloween tube I die cut 2 Cloud White Cardstock toppers using the Treat Tube Topper Confetti Cuts.  You can make these toppers with just cardstock, but it's also possible to add patterned paper as I did here, using paper from the Fright Night 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad.  The die is longer than a sheet of 6x6 patterned paper, but if you cut the patterned paper twice it's possible to piece it together.  That's what I did, gluing the patterned paper down to the white cardstock.  I hope that makes sense.

Next I stamped the scalloped edged white sections of the tube toppers with some of the tiny stamps from Best Witches.  The quickest way to do this is to place all the stamps on a block, as I did above, that way you can stamp them all at once.  I quickly colored the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush watercolor markers.  To make the Trick or Treat tag I die cut one of the smaller frames from Lacy Scallop Frames Confetti Cuts and glued it to a piece of Grape Soda Cardstock.  I stamped the "Trick or Treat", from Treat 'Yo Self, using 3 of our new die inks, Tangerine, Grape Soda, and Lime Green.  I also stamped the same cluster of candies and stars that I'd stamped on the tube toppers, on the tag.  I used one of the dies from Hang Ups Confetti Cuts and some black twine to top off my tag and tie it to the treat tube.  This tube is filled with some Hershey's Special Dark Kisses, yum!

For my next tube I used Lime Green Cardstock to cut my tube toppers and added the cute tangerine gingham patterned paper from Fright Night to decorate the scallop edges.  I used the new Wheat Confetti Cuts and Happy Harvest stamps and Happy Harvest Confetti Cuts to decorate my tube.  I filled my tube with some mixed nuts and tied the ends with twine.  One cool thing about these tube toppers is that they fit snugly onto the ends of the tubes and don't need to be glued on.  This way the recipient can simply pull off the ends, open the tube, and enjoy their treat!

I hope you've enjoyed seeing the new products today.  All of the new products will be available in the Reverse Confetti store tonight at midnight EST!  You still have time to leave a comment on all of the design team blogs and on the Reverse Confetti Blog for a chance to win a 15.00 gift certificate to the Reverse Confetti store.  There's also a 15.00 prize up for grabs on the Reverse Confetti Facebook page so be sure to visit there too.  Please join us tomorrow for the September release blog hop where we'll be sharing more ideas for using the new products!  See you then!
